Spencer Lake is a large freshwater lake located in Mason County, Washington. At an elevation of 175 ft. and 212.4 acres, it's home to several species of fish, including yellow perch, rainbow trout, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass and coastal cutthroat trout (resident). Spencer Lake has been historically stocked with rainbow and cutthroat. The largest rainbow ever stocked is 6.25 lbs. This year so far, there has been 7 stockings of rainbow and cutthroat at an average of 0.57 lbs. In the past, Spencer Lake stocked tens of thousands of rainbow and cutthroat averaging 0.66 lbs.

Spencer Lake provides excellent opportunities for yellow perch, rainbow trout and largemouth bass as well as good opportunities for coastal cutthroat trout (resident). There is also a chance to catch smallmouth bass throughout the year.

An modestly traveled lake, there has been some successful reports by anglers at Spencer Lake over the past few years.
Anglers reported the most success with rainbow trout. Largemouth bass is also a popular species to fish for at Spencer Lake.
